We had a great day yesterday honoring our resident Veterans. Ga. Assistant State Captain, Sonny Luke and members of The Georgia Patriot Guard Riders joined us and shared the vision and missions of the GPGR. We heard from our residents about the branch they served and time the served. We were entertained by Curtis Scott while having cake and ice cream. Thank you to each and ever Veteran for their service to our great nation!

What a great Halloween Party! Thank you Administrative Dept., CMA's and Dietary Staff for pulling it off. A big kudos to Amy and Orlando aka. Angel with Peaceful Purpose Hospice for coming out and helping make the party fun. Haley with Family Hospice for supplying the prizes. Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves. Yep, we have the best Team and residents at The Cottages of Milledgeville!

Okay, the votes were tallied for the Fall Door Decorating contests and winners were 1st Place goes to Suite C Bobbie and Floy, 2nd Place to Suite G Gail and we had a tie for 3rd Place with Iva and Maidana. Congratulations to the winners! Please keep in mind were based on votes. We will do another in December for Christmas so if any family or friends want to come and help the residents please do so. Just get with Renee about the criteria for decorating. Thank you all for voting!

This National Assisted Living Week was the best. We ended with Pajamas Day on Thursday. That afternoon residents and staff performed our 1st Annual Vaudville Show. The Grande Finale was on Friday with Safari Birthday Party. We were entertained by Good News Gospel.
