📍 Miller, SD | Full-Time | Hand County Memorial Hospital
Are you passionate about food, nutrition, and leadership? Hand County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dietary department and ensure our patients, residents, and community receive high-quality meals and nutrition services.
**What You’ll Do:**
✅ Plan, organize, and direct dietary programs and services
✅ Supervise and train dietary staff
✅ Work closely with administration, nursing, assisted living, and dietitians
✅ Oversee food preparation for patients, residents, and community meal contracts (Meals on Wheels, the Manor, the Plaza)
✅ Manage menus, food purchasing, budgeting, and inventory
✅ Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
**Qualifications:**
✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ Certified Dietary Manager (or willingness to obtain certification within 12 months)
✔ Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
✔ Knowledge of food service operations and safety standards
