Backbends are a challenge and some of the most avoided poses in yoga.

✨ With patience, persistence, and total body awareness, they are incredibly rewarding for the body
✨ They can strengthen that sore back alleviating the pain
✨ Backbends can be done standing, sitting, kneeling, and on the belly
