This October, we're proud to highlight our commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness Month! We believe in supporting our employees' health and well-being, and this month was filled with some impactful initiatives.

All month long, our HR team has Breast Cancer Awareness swag available for purchase, along with 50/50 raffle tickets, with the proceeds being donated to a charity in our local community.

On October 16th, we held our annual Pink Day in our offices and factory. It's a day where we are all encouraged to wear pink to raise awareness for breast cancer, and the team with the highest percentage of participation wins a pizza party! This year, we had an amazing 173 participants, with the Cold End A Crew and Supply Chain & NPD teams taking home the win!

To make health even more accessible, we hosted the Mammogram Van on-site on October 14th, offering convenient breast cancer screenings for women aged 40 and older. On the same day, The CompleteCare Health Network Mobile Van was also on-site, providing essential health services for any of our employees.

Together, we're making a difference in the fight against breast cancer and promoting a culture of health and support within our company.

Welding Seniors, Trent Garrison and Craig Sprouse, are working with Arc (formerly Durand Glass). Craig is in the shop refinishing molds. Trent is working on cutting, notching out, and grinding metal.

Our team was at Rowan University on Tuesday attending their STEM Career Fair. We spoke to students about Arc's summer internships and co-ops, and of course career opportunities with us after college!

We also handed out some of our glasses emblazoned with Rowan's logo and our Circularc logo to highlight our new partnership with the university and our glass recycling circular economy initiative! (Learn more about Circularc here - https://www.circularc.com/)

🚨 NOW HIRING – Production Mechanic (Day Shift) 🚨

💲 Pay: $25–$28 per hour
🕒 Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM + Duty Rotation
📍 Department: Maintenance

We’re looking for a skilled Production Mechanic to join our Maintenance team! This is a hands-on role where you’ll keep our operations running smoothly by installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex mechanical and distribution systems.

🔧 What You’ll Do:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment.

Perform setups and preventive maintenance.

Work with fabrication, assembly, welding, and pipefitting.

Use cranes, hoists, power tools, and inspection gauges.

Diagnose equipment issues, perform emergency repairs, and keep production moving.

Assist and train less experienced co-workers when needed.

✨ What We’re Looking For:

1–3 years of maintenance experience (industrial environment preferred).

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Welding experience a plus!

Able to lift up to 75 lbs., work at heights, and in hot environments.

Willing to work overtime and duty rotations as needed.

🍔 What a great two days we had at "Benefits & Burgers on the Bricks" last week! It was wonderful to see so many of our dedicated employees show up to learn more about the array of benefits we offer, and to enjoy some great food and company.

This event was a true testament to our shared commitment to making our business sustainable and continuing to provide a living for 3,000 mouths. Our employees’ hard work and dedication (24/7!) does not go unnoticed, and this event was a small token of our appreciation for all that they do!

Happy Earth Day! 🌎 Last week, we held our 3rd annual Earth Day Campus Cleanup. Our team cleaned up litter all across our 128 acre campus, with a main focus on the roadway and woods out front, and our parking lots. In total, we collected 112 bags of litter and debris. We appreciate all our team members who took time from their day to help clean up our roadway and campus!

Yesterday our Scheduling Manager, David Cope, retired after 39 years working for Arc! Dave started working for Arc as a packer, then quickly moved up to a cold end foreman position. After his first 14 years with us, he transitioned over to the scheduling department, where for the last 6 years he was our Scheduling Manager. (A key role in making sure our customers get the products they need on time!)

A fun fact about Dave: The year he started at Arc, his daughter was born and this year (as he retires) he will be welcoming into the world his latest grandchild!

Dave is now looking forward to many unscheduled and carefree days in his retirement! We wish him all the best! 🥂
