Happy Tuesday everyone!!

We are happy to announce that Wellness Encompassed has TWO new interns working under Jason McAllister and Claire Roman.

They are eager to learn and grow in this field and are passionate for caring. They are currently accepting clients and referrals are welcome. We are offering a pay what you can scale to help reduce financial hardships for the clients as well as open the door for the interns to help support their community!

We are re-launching provider Claire Roman's Circle of Security therapy group; Parenting Series.

The group starts on April 11th, and will recur on Thursday nights from 6pm - 8:30.

Please stay safe during winter storms! Notify our office if you feel uncomfortable commuting on slick roads.
Telehealth is always any option provided you are located in the State of WA and have privacy to meet with your clinician virtually.

Happy Monday everyone!
Wellness Encompassed is very excited to announce that our family continues to grow! We have two new members who have recently joined the team; Ben Mandel and Michelle Hughes!

Michelle will be the new face and voice in the front of the office as our newest Office Administrator. Michelle grew up right here in Spokane and recently relocated back to the area after living in Seattle and Bellingham the past 7 years.

We are also excited to welcome Ben as our newest provider to join the staff. Ben will be starting his new position here at Wellness Encompassed next month. Ben enjoys working with couples and families and helping establish healthy lifestyles, through a family Systems approach. We are so excited to include Ben into our Wellness Encompassed family!

Big shout out to both Ben and Michelle! With the new additions to our Wellness Encompassed team, we thought it would be only fitting that we had a photoshoot here in the office to help you all put faces to names. Happy Friday everyone!

I have some exciting news from Wellness Encompassed. We are incredibly delighted to announce our newest member to the team: LEE McCORMICK!! Lee is an awesome clinician with a ton of experience. They are currently taking new clients and have a background in neurodivergent treatment, they are LGBTQ+ Affirming and also work with couples! We are very excited to watch Lee grow and expand their skills. They've already become part of the team with their warm personality, authentic self and fantastic sense of humor! Welcome to the team Lee!!

Season greetings everyone from the Wellness Encompassed team!!

I am so thankful for this group on Facebook and all that you do. We wanted to do a small shoutout to our team for the awesome work they did this year and the holiday party we had. We have our own Wellness House now (soon to be demolished by a hungry team).
I am also very excited for the coming year and some big plans we have here at Wellness Encompassed.
In the meantime I wanted to give two big holiday updates on our end!

Our first announcement is that we have a new (new) team member that has joined our little family (Which is quickly growing) Amanda Reid!!! Amanda is from our neighbor up north, Alaska and is soon to be a fully licensed LMHC. She has experiences with the Veteran population, trauma, post partum, parenting and multicultural counseling as she travelled to15 countries and even lived in a few of them! Amanda started this week and is currently ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS.

Our second update is that in January we will be adding another team member, our very first intern Sonya Rose!! She will only be taking a few clients at first but is very eager to start seeing her own clients.

We are all capable of growth and overcoming our past. It holds no claim on us but that which we allow it to.

"Healing shame requires a vulnerability to share and let go of the false story of who we think we are...and who others say we are."

The first step in growth and recovery is acknowledgement. It is not always acceptance or forgiveness. Instead it is the idea that there is something "I" can change by choice and taking that first step towards it.
