We put a premium on personal service, and strive to provide the latest in ocular health care and vision services. Visual Eyes has been a part of our community for over 30 years. We have been across from Mac-Hi since 2000, and welcomed Dr. Winter's to the practice in 2015. Dr. Winters works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of his dedication to continuing education that our patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available. Dr. Winters and his wife, Kate, have the five young boys. After graduation from Vale High School he lived nearly two years in Central America where he developed a love of the Latino culture and proficient Spanish language skills. Outside of his educational and professional career, Dr. Winters loves to spend time with his family. His hobbies include: playing in the dirt with his boys, teasing his wife, woodworking, rifle shooting, hiking, church activities, downhill skiing, and Memphis-style BBQ

We will be changing our featured artist display in April. If you have not had the opportunity to see our featured artist Jean Ann Mitchell's watercolor paintings please take the opportunity to stop in. Her artwork is incredible and her one of a kind art pieces are for sale.

If you would like to stop in to see the pieces in person please come in M-TH during our business hours. If you would like to purchase any of her works you can email her at jjmitchell@centurylink.net or we can also help you get you get in contact with her.

Jean Ann paints landscapes, water, trail and travel impressions and her most exclusive work is inland northwest native plant botanicals. She has been able to enhance her addiction to wildflowers by working several years for the USDA Forest Service.
Working with the Native Plant Society Jean Ann illustrated the Trailside Guide of Wildflowers In the Blue Mountains Near Walla Walla.

Celebrating a very special week with a very special intern, Riley 💕
After 6 wonderful months with us, we’re soaking up every moment of her final week in the office. We are so grateful for her kindness, hard work, and the joy she’s brought to our optometry family.
And today is extra special as we celebrate her and the sweet baby boy she’ll be welcoming very soon 🍼💙 We are wishing her all the love, health, and happiness in this exciting new chapter.
