Abigail has officially stepped into the role of Office Manager 🎉

Many of you may already know Abigail from her time as a recruiter, where she played a huge role in supporting our team and bringing amazing caregivers on board. From day one, she has shown incredible dedication, a willingness to help anyone at any time, and a true talent for problem-solving.

Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to both our team and our clients make her a natural fit for this role.

We’re so proud to have her growing within Independent Home Health and helping lead our Milton office, this is so well deserved! 💙

💙We have incredible caregivers here at Independent! This month's first Caregiver Spotlight is dedicated to Rebecca! We are so proud to have her be a part of the IHH Team! Let's get to know a little bit about her:

1. How did you become a caregiver?

- "I became interested in caregiving while working at SUNCOM, helping individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. It was fulfilling work to form bonds with them and help them achieve their life goals."

2. What do you enjoy most about your job?

- "I get the most joy out of assisting senior citizens and others who may otherwise been forgotten by a fast-paced society. Their gratitude is amazing."

3. What is the one thing you wish people knew about your job?

- "Senior citizens have lots to offer and really appreciate companionship, which makes my job very rewarding."

4. What is a skill or hobby you have outside of work?

- "Thrift store shopping and antiquing."

5. What is something you're obsessed with currently?

- "Cats"

💙We have incredible caregivers here at Independent Home Health! This month's first Caregiver Spotlight is dedicated to Ginny! We are so proud to have her be a part of the IHH Team! Let's get to know a little bit about her:

- "I took CNA classes since I always wanted to take care of those in need."

2. What do you enjoy most about your job?

- "Helping clients with their daily needs and making sure they are safe and happy with my care."

3. What is the one thing you wish people knew about your job?

- "How rewarding it is to help the clients with their daily needs."

4. What is a skill or hobby you have outside of work?

- "My hobbies are gardening, going for walks with my puppy, volunteering at my local fire company when I can, and also spending time with family."

- "My job taking care of the clients with their care."

Every third Thursday of the month, our Milton team partners with Buffalo Valley Independent Living to host a free Blood Pressure Clinic led by Nurse Brenda!

These clinics are a simple but an important way to stay on top of your health, while also giving us a chance to connect, chat, and care for members of our community. 🫶

We love seeing familiar faces each month and meeting new ones, too! Whether it’s for peace of mind or routine monitoring, we’re here for you.
