Birth is beautiful… but it can also be stressful on a baby’s nervous system.

After a long labor, fast delivery, C-section, or assisted birth, a newborn’s nervous system can stay stuck in “fight or flight.” When that happens, you might notice:

• Trouble sleeping
• Extra fussiness, colicky
• Difficulty latching, torticollis
• Digestive discomfort, straining, constipation, or gassiness
• Body arching, stiffening, or tensing up

Gentle newborn chiropractic adjustments help shift the nervous system from “fight or flight” into “rest and digest.” When the nervous system is regulated, babies often appear calmer, sleep more soundly, and digest more comfortably.
