This month, we’re proud to support the 7th Annual Acts of Kindness Campaign across Luzerne & Wyoming Counties! 🌟

At Independent Home Health, our ODP team sees every day how small acts of kindness can make a BIG impact. Whether it’s offering support, sharing a smile, or helping someone feel included, kindness truly matters.

🌟 Supporting Everyday Lives in Schuylkill County 🌟

Our ODP team recently participated in the Supporting Everyday Lives Collaborative Quarterly Meeting, where community partners gathered to share ideas, resources, and upcoming opportunities that support individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Events like these allow organizations to collaborate, learn from one another, and continue building a stronger network of supports for the individuals and families we serve.

One opportunity shared at the meeting was the upcoming Abilities to Work ID/A Community Job Fair, which connects individuals with inclusive employers and meaningful employment opportunities.

❄️ Winter Wonderland – A Celebration of Inclusion ❄️

This year marked the 3rd annual Winter Wonderland, a special community event created to ensure individuals with support needs are included in the magic of the season through a welcoming, sensory-friendly experience.

While Winter Wonderland has been a beloved tradition for years, this year’s event was held in honor and memory of Lisa Urbanski, whose passion for inclusion and community continues to make a lasting impact.

We are proud to support and attend events like this through our ODP services, where inclusion, connection, and meaningful community experiences are at the heart of what we do. 💙
