Care Kitchen Has Officially Launched!
We are incredibly excited to introduce Care Kitchen, a new cooking and nutrition series created by the Seena Magowitz Foundation to help patients, survivors, and caregivers find meals that are both nourishing and comforting during cancer treatment.
Care Kitchen is led by Napa Valley chef Gia Fazio, working together with patients and nutrition experts to create recipes designed to support strength, healing, and overall wellbeing.
This series is also being produced by award-winning producers and directors from Top Chef, bringing together culinary expertise and patient-centered care.

Care Kitchen is a first-of-its-kind, nutrition-focused digital program developed by the Seena Magowitz Foundation (SMF)to address one of the most persistent and under-served challenges facing pancreatic cancer patients: food and nutrition.
For patients living with pancreatic cancer, eating is often complicated by appetite loss, digestive issues, taste changes, diabetes, and emotional distress around food. While nutrition is essential to quality of life and recovery, patients frequently lack practical, compassionate guidance tailored to their needs. Care Kitchen was created to fill this critical gap. Our warrior, 12-year survivor, and lover of life Ray Shupe. Ray's story is without question lined with challenges, sacrifice, and suffering. Like all of our patients, Ray has the willingness to move forward and push through the treatments and recovery. This is no easy task. Ray is also another patient that was fortunate enough to come into the care of our own Dr Evans. Ray is 12 years into survival, and his story once again brings up a subject none of us are unfamiliar with; early detection. Ray certainly benefitted from early detection and THAT is one of the things we are fighting for the most. Read Ray's story and see for yourself.

Today Farmer Ken is grateful to celebrate World Pancreatic Cancer Day! Farmer Ken is a 9+ year survivor thanks to Dr. Douglas Evans and his great team at Froedtert Hospital. This past Tuesday, Jolynn and I presented Dr. Evans a check for almost $1500.00 from the donations that you, our customers and friends, left in our donation jars through out the season going towards pancreatic cancer research. Jolynn and I matched that amount and more.
