Gua sha helps move stagnation and support the body’s natural drainage processes. After an injury, fluid can accumulate in an area if circulation is disrupted or the pathways that transport it aren’t working efficiently.

By stimulating the tissue and encouraging movement, gua sha can help restore flow. In his case, his lungs aren’t mobilizing fluid as effectively as they should, which is why this treatment has been especially supportive for him.

Birth Trauma
Chinese Medicine perspective

In Chinese medicine, birth trauma is often understood as a disruption of the Shen (spirit), the Heart, and the smooth flow of Qi and Blood after an intense or overwhelming birth experience. When fear, shock, loss of control, or sudden interventions occur, the body can hold this as stagnation and deficiency showing up as anxiety, emotional numbness, fatigue, tension in the chest or pelvis, and difficulty fully settling after birth. From a perinatal Chinese medicine perspective, healing focuses on gently restoring safety in the nervous system, nourishing Blood, and helping the body release what was held during labor, so the person can feel grounded, supported, and whole again.

Here I share a patient with a very healthy muscle and what that feels like upon Palpation. Flexible softy playable able to adapt to any movement pattern needed.

The first step in adressing complicated issues is look at the simplest cause and remedy you can find. That’s exactly what this video demonstrates. Most jaw misalignments are not cause by a major injury rather long term patterns that result in misalignments.
