This morning I was angry on my drive. Instead of carrying that into the space, I prayed, meditated, and asked God to center me and allow me to be a blessing.
Today I had the opportunity to speak Holy Cross Lutheran Church about Serenity Inns and the work we are doing. What came out wasn’t rehearsed, it was passion, purpose, and gratitude for how recovery and faith continue to transform lives, including my own.
This work is personal. It is spiritual. And it is grounded in service
