Samad’s House has empowered over 75 women and nearly a dozen families in Milwaukee to reclaim their lives from substance disorders. Through our holistic approach: mind, body, and spirit, we provide a safe, supportive environment where women can recover, rebuild, and thrive.

We’ve grown into a network of three homes and a behavioral health clinic offering comprehensive 120-day intensive programming designed for lasting transformation.

Since 2024, Samad’s House has also distributed over 2,300 naloxone packages and fentanyl test strips, helping save lives and strengthen our community. 💜

Meet Tahira, RISE Drug Free MKE's Coalition Chair. 💙

Tahira is the Founder and COO of Samad's House, a Milwaukee-based sober living home and behavioral health clinic dedicated to supporting women—especially mothers—on their journey to recovery.

She also serves as the Vice-Chair of the City of Milwaukee Board of Health, where she brings the invaluable perspective of lived expereince to public health leadership.

Tahira often reminds others that "no storm lasts forever" and that recovery is always possible.
