This is what postpartum services look like…

As a Doula, I make it my mission to support my in any necessary capacity. Cooking, cleaning, caring for the baby just so they can rest. I do it all!

Postpartum is a crucial stage because during this time comes postpartum depression. Postpartum depression causes anger, anxiety, isolation, fatigue, loss of appetite, weight gain, weight loss, and so much more. During this time it’s important to have a solid support system that will get you through this stage. That is where I come in because my mission is to make sure that every family I serve succeeds. Get you a Doula.

Welcome earthside baby boy!
This healthy baby boy was delivered earthside on 8/29/23 at 4:30am cst

The amount of love this young one will receive is truly beautiful and I’m happy to be a part of it.

This weekend was eventful! I had the pleasure of sharing space with other birth workers, offering resources, and networking at Birth Fest this year.

It was a beautiful experience to see so many women and men that are passionate in serving families. I’m looking forward to next year.

Wow! So much has happened since my last post….

I’ve been busy. I have delivered a total of 12 babies and the number is rising. All of which have been natural and vaginal births.

In addition to that, I was nominated and awarded “DOULA OF THE YEAR” through Findley Foundation, Inc. Crazy right?! There is just some things that really blow my mind because serving my community is not about receiving recognition but because I really love being a Doula. I stopped running from my calling and MAN….this has been a scary but rewarding journey. It’s about being an advocate and assuring each family makes it home safely, provide emotional, physical, support, teaching mothers to advocate for themselves in medical environments, teaching and learning from all parties involved.

I am so grateful for this honorable mention. I truly love what I do, serving my community.

This entire week I will boldly express the amazing work that we do!

Day 3: Labor + Birth

It is possible for a mother to have the birth that she imagines. Bringing new life into this world shouldn’t have to be painful or an experience that mothers wish to forget.

As a Doula, it is my duty to make sure my mothers are receiving the birth they know is possible for them to have.

I’m highlighting my client on day 3 of World Doula Week. We were able to give her a birthing experience that she wanted. She knew from the very start that she wanted a Doula and I was happy to support her in whatever capacity she needed me. We created a beautiful birthing experience for her collectively.

Day 2: Pregnancy

Doulas provide emotional and physical support. We support mothers during and after the pregnancy.

Doulas are qualified to assist mothers in whatever capacity needed. Not only that but you have a sister for life!

This is a life term commitment. Get you a Doula.

Day 1: Doulas Make A Difference

Doulas are necessary because:

🖤 Provide emotional, physical,breastfeeding, and partner support
🖤 Provide Postpartum support
🖤 Decrease in the risk of Cesarean section (c-section)
🖤 Shorten length of labor
🖤 Reduce epidural request or any pain medication
🖤 Assuring that mothers are experiencing the birth that they desire.

Doulas are necessary because we truly make a difference in families lives during and after birth.

I am so grateful to be walking in my calling as a Doula. This work is a rollercoaster but rewarding in many ways. Thank you for choosing me to be your Doula. I love you!
