❤️‍🔥 JOY Challenge - Day 13 ❤️‍🔥

Today my JOY is this:

I get to do what I love.
I get to serve humanity.
I get to witness ripple effects that change entire families.

As I prepare to teach Reiki 3 - Master Level tomorrow at A Right Path Wellness, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.

This week alone I watched brave humans:

✨ Show up for themselves while recovering from complex health challenges
✨ Move through the heaviness of life instead of numbing it
✨ Face trauma and ancestral wounds and choose healing
✨ Take radical responsibility for their lives
✨ Advocate for themselves, ask what they need and create better boundaries

That is not small work.

It takes courage to look at your life and say, “I’m ready to shift this.”

It takes strength to choose discomfort in the short term for freedom in the long term.

And what I know - after three decades in this work - is that when one person heals…

Children feel it.
Partners feel it.
Communities feel it.

The ripple is real.

Tonight, my JOY is in the privilege of holding space for transformation and in the humans who say yes to themselves, even when it’s hard.

That kind of courage changes the world. ❤️‍🔥

If you’re exhausted…
If your heart races…
If you’re anxious for “no reason”…

Before we blame your mindset - let’s look at your minerals.

Electrolytes aren’t trendy.

Your body runs on charge.

Every heartbeat.

🇺🇸💚Today is the day. 💚🇺🇸

Across the country, we are raising our voices and speaking directly with our Senators and Representatives all across the United States on behalf of Center for Lyme Action.

Lyme and other tick-borne diseases impact countless people in our country (and globally) each year, yet federal funding for research, prevention, diagnostics and treatment still falls far short of the need.

Today, we advocate for stronger federal investment, better surveillance, improved diagnostics and meaningful support for patients and families.

This is about science.
This is about public health.
This is about people.

We are asking our government to prioritize Lyme disease and tick-borne illness funding in the federal budget and to support policies that accelerate research and improve care nationwide.

💛 Joy Challenge – Day 10 💛
2/17: My Celebration of a Life

Most people celebrate the day they were born.
I celebrate the day I almost died.

There’s a date on my calendar that changed everything — not because something began… but because something almost ended.

Every year on 2/17, I honor what I call my Celebration of a Life — the anniversary of one of my near-death experiences.

And this year, with the energy of the New Moon and Eclipse, it feels even more powerful.

Here’s what I realized:

That wasn’t the only time.

I’ve had several moments where life could have gone very differently. Each time:
• Time slowed down.
• The noise disappeared.
• Love was the only thing that felt real.
• Fear wasn’t in charge.
• And I was given a choice.

Each time — I chose to come back.

And every time, something shifted.

I stopped proving.
I stopped obsessing.
I stopped postponing joy.

Near-death strips you down to truth.

You don’t think about inboxes.
You think about who you love.
How you loved.
Whether you were fully here.

That’s why 2/17 isn’t trauma for me.

It’s clarity.
It’s perspective.
It’s power.

You don’t have to almost lose your life to wake up to it.
But most people wait.

I decided not to.

✨ Presence isn’t a luxury — it’s the point.
✨ Love boldly.
✨ Joy is allowed now.

Today, I don’t mourn what almost happened.

I honor what did.

I’m still here.
Still breathing.
Still becoming.

How cool is it that we’re alive at the exact same time?

Pause.
Feel your breath.

You’re here.

And that is not small. 💛
