What an incredible night at the Research Park! Thank you to everyone who bundled up and joined us for a festive evening hustle yesterday. We had a fantastic turnout as tenants from across the Park came together for a two-mile route, donated items and funds to the Tosa Community Food Pantry, and enjoyed hot cocoa, coffee, and treats from Panera and Noodles & Company. The night ended with the big moment everyone was waiting for — the lighting of the Tosa Tree, now glowing bright for the entire holiday season.
Here are some fun holiday stats from our amazing partners at LandWorks, LLC:
🌟 The Tosa Tree is wrapped with 750–800 strands of lights
💡 That’s nearly 55,000 individual LED bulbs shining bright
🔌 Powered by 4 circuit breakers across 3 lighted sections
🛠️ Installed by a 4-person LandWorks crew logging roughly 200 hours
🚜 Took two lifts and bucket equipment an entire week to complete
🔄 Removal after the season will take another 150–175 hours
🌲 As far as we know, it’s the largest holiday tree in Wauwatosa — maybe the Greater Milwaukee area!
✨ Ten locations across the Research Park — including 10K, Meadowlands, Wood Lakes 1–3, Oakwood, Mayfair Woods, Research One, and the Mayfair Medical & Retail properties — are glowing bright thanks to the partnership between Irgens and LandWorks.
Thank you to everyone who made the night so memorable. The lights will continue to shine throughout the holiday season — and we can’t wait for you to enjoy them.
