Our Story

Mexton Deacon, DPM, is a highly skilled podiatrist with extensive education, training, and experience in diagnosing and treating disorders of the foot and ankle. He heads an accomplished team of providers at the Milwaukee Advanced Foot & Ankle Clinic, conveniently located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Dr. Deacon earned his Bachelor of Science at nearby Marquette University. He then went on to achieve his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois. He also completed residencies at Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard’s teaching hospital) in Boston and Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington.

A former Washington state judo champion, Dr. Deacon understands the rigors of competitive athletics and maintaining an active lifestyle. His background and broad expertise make him an ideal choice for sports medicine needs and athletes at every level.

Dr. Deacon is up-to-date on the latest advances in the field, with expertise across medical, biomechanical, orthopedic, and surgical disciplines. With three years of specialized surgical training, he’s one of the Milwaukee metropolitan area’s premier podiatrists. He’s also a frequent professional conference participant and takes part in public speaking engagements related to his fields of expertise.
