So proud of all the progress this little horse leader is making in such a short time!

Regular horse time has been helping her slow down, focus her thoughts, handle life’s up and downs and be more aware of others and her impact on them.

It’s impressive how much she has been applying our horse session talking points at home and in everyday life.

Are you taking the time to slow down, breathe and savor the moments in 2026?

Being intentional about slowing down to breathe is so healing, and can be so bonding when you do it with “your herd” as well.

Rhianna has built an incredible bond with our horses just through breathing with them. It helps her release her stress each week, and it helps them relax and realize not everyone has expectations for them. Together they get to just relax, “release” whatever they are holding inside and be themselves.

These two silly horses could do this all day…

after they finally leave the ball, they walked over and picked up a hay net to play tug of war with. I didn’t want them to rip it so I took it away. Then they picked up one of our 3ftx2ft heavy foam blocks to fight over…

We held our first Grateful Hearts Horse Camp yesterday and the barn was truly filled with so much joy and love.

All the kids were so caring and loving with the horses and the horses were so patient and sweet with the kids too. (I think they even appreciated the chance to be inside and off the icy ground for most of the day.)

It filled my own heart with so much gratitude and serenity that I might just have to book another one or two of these camps. I’m thinking of an adult version too. Maybe in February? Or March?

If you’re interested in a kids camp or one for adults or for families even, let me know. I’m always interested in feedback on what would be ideal for you.

We love how fast this baby girl learns :) After watching the big horses rearing and playing, she had to try it.

Luckily for her, Star did not feel threatened and was patient and a thoughtful teacher for her.
