We have some exciting “little” news!

I said we were not going to be adding to our herd… but…

When you meet a sweet, tiny orphan foal like this one… it’s hard to not just bring her home and take good care of her. ❤️🐴❤️

So, she arrived last week. We have been enjoying getting to know this little girl. She’s still in need of a name, so ideas are welcome!

We could feel the love in the air as the horses just kept surrounding and vying for affection from this wonderful, expecting couple in their mini horse retreat last weekend.

Here are some of the excited comments I enjoyed hearing from the kids after a personalized “Discover the Joy of Horses” session yesterday:

“I was hoping to get to pat a horse. But we got to pet them and hug them and lead them and even braid their tails!!! I can’t believe it - it was soooo great!”

“I just thought we were going to sit criss-cross-applesauce style in a circle and learn about horses. I wasn’t sure if we’d even get to touch one. This was SO much more than that! We really got to DO SO MUCH with the horses!”

“I don’t want to say goodbye to these horses! I just love them!!!”

And my favorite comment:

“I really didn’t even think I’d like this, but I really loved it! It was great. I want to come back!”

What a great group! I’m so happy they enjoyed their horse experience! 🙂🐴❤️

This trio of girls has been a welcome addition to our barn over the last five months. We love their visits!

It’s been fun to watch the unique relationship each one has developed with their favorite horse as they learn side by side. And their enthusiasm and curiosity seems to build every week and really is heart warming.

I’m proud of their continued progress and looking forward to seeing them again very soon!!
