Kayla joined North Shore Health in 2021 as the Business Office Assistant at Maple Ridge Health Services. She was recently named North Shore's "Business Office Manager of the Month."

Previously, Kayla had experience in long-term care as a social service coordinator and marketing director. When deciding to make a career change, it was evident that Kayla had the people-first mindset. She quickly demonstrated her ability to connect with employees, learn new systems, and support the company's growth.

Over the years, Kayla has trained new business office assistants within the organization, while assisting with various other tasks at the center level. Within this past year, she has taken on a new responsibility by gaining an additional building in the Milwaukee market. Kayla has proven that job sharing at two locations can be successful with determination, dedication, and of course, good time management.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Brian, two dogs Mabel and Ellie, and listening to Harry Potter books.

Her journey is a great reminder that professional development isn't just about climbing a ladder - it's about expanding skills, building relationships and making an impact along the way.
