Had the privilege of visiting two beautiful friends last week in Puerto Rico.

My husband & I traveled around the island learning more about the history, culture, joy, food, resistance, wildlife + so much more.

I’m incredibly grateful for all the moments of connection, space to rest deeply, healing sound of Mother Earth & all the lessons learned 🩵

Returned to Marquette University yesterday to guide an Intro to Mindfulness session for MU Honor’s students.

I shared about what mindfulness is, how it can be incorporated into the everyday life of a college student, we moved through 5 different mindfulness practices & closed with a group reflection.

It was so fun seeing how interested the students were in this offering! Let me know if work with high school or college students & would like a private offering! ✨

It’s always an honor to hold space for other wellness practitioners. I was asked to guide a 45min sound meditation for a group of therapists during their workday.

It served as a recentering tool before they went back to holding space for their clients.

Was asked to curate a private birthday offering for my client for the 3rd year in a row! ✨

We started with time for oracle cards readings & picking out grounding essential oils.

I then guided a 90min Reiki Energy & Sound Healing Journey that included cleansing rituals.

We closed with a group reflection & lounging time to enjoy birthday treats 🩷

I’ve been reading this powerful poem by Palestinian poet, Naomi Shihab Nye, in my yoga classes this week.

May we continue to show up for one another in times of anger, exhaustion, fear, grief & heartbreak.

Serving as a yoga, reiki & sound healing guide during this time has been challenging.

I’m exhausted with the deep grief that comes with thousands of your people being brutally killed by their own government & not being able to receive any communication from family for 2 weeks on whether or not they are alive.

I’m angry at the horrifying ways U.S. state-sanctioned violence continues to terrorize our communities and cause so much generational trauma.

I’m mentally & emotionally exhausted. But I love my community. I love the work I get to do. And I will continue to show up even when I’m not feeling my best.

I’ve been committed to my movement practices that have kept me feeling physically strong enough to continue holding space. I’ve cut back on things to create space to process /mourn & for that I am grateful 🙏🏽

Had the honor of guiding this beautiful couple through a private Reiki & Sound Healing Journey to celebrate their anniversary! It’s extra special when you get to hold space for your friends.

I always ask my clients if there’s an intention they would like me to curate the offering around and these two said they full trusted my intuition to take the session in any direction I felt called to.

The freedom I felt to allow the collective energy to move me in ways that felt aligned was so powerful! I played my instruments in ways I have never done before, which brought so much depth & transformation for all three of us.

So much gratitude for the ancestral connections I feel doing this work & for the trust my clients have in me to guide them through these sacred & vulnerable practices 🙏🏽

✨Private Sound Journey for Families✨

Sitting with the sweet joy felt in my home studio after today’s private session.

A fellow yoga teacher booked a private session for her husband and two daughters (11 & 13yrs old).

We started the session with them selecting calming essential oils they wanted diffused in the studio & used topically.

I then guided them through a simple breathwork practice that led into a 60min sound journey. We closed with a group reflection. The daughters were excited to ask questions, had the ability to play my instruments and shared about how calming it was for them.
