In that, a couple of news at Sacred Space Bodywork…

First, in April, I will be moving back to our original location, 231 E Buffalo street, fifth floor; as it is my brick and mortar, I’m THRILLED to be back where Sacred Space began. In that, we will be still always be partnering with Urbaine Oasis Spa, please watch for updates on this as kind detailed messages about the move will be coming in to you for your future sessions on April 1st.

Secondly, while most know, I am getting married in June! Please make note that the last two weeks of June and the first week of July I will be NOT in service! Should you be looking to be serviced during the time I will not be in, I HIGHLY recommend browsing for a service with Sigrid at InTune Bodywork.

‼️Attention to all new and loyal Sacred Space clients, today there are building/hour adjustments‼️

the CityCenter, had a water pipe leak in the gym of the building and is closed for the day, 11/13/25, to repair. Unfortunately, Sacred Space is closed for the day. Thank you all for your grace and patience in rescheduling or sadly not being able to get scheduled for a session today as maintenance is working as fast as possible to repair the damaged pipe! 💚

Cupping and GuaSha go together like PB&J. 💜🤎🥜

Look at those results! The neck and shoulder cup areas took ONLY 6 minutes to develop. The GuaSha sha developed during that 6 minutes, which in total took approximately 15 minutes per side to fully sha with both tools. 😱 Talk about hitting the target spot!

While this looks like my client got completely ran over by a tractor, I promise you, these techniques are so much more therapeutic than it appears! Cupping and GuaSha are a client-favorited service at Sacred Space. Come check it out for yourself!

WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!! Sacred Space was in Twin Cities, Minnesota and at American Family Field promoting and giving chair massages! 🤩

Cupping provides so much to the body, mind and spirit!!

Cupping is used widely for a vast majority of conditions! For example, it’s great for lymphatic drainage, but also fabulous to pair with GuaSha and reduce inflammation & scar tissue in a given area and scar site!

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) cupping is used to maintain qi (vital energy) and xue (blood). Cupping is used to remove stagnation/blockages within the qi and xue. Cupping can be done through stationary (plastic or glass) cups, fire cupping (glass cups) or through gliding cupping (silicone cups). The resulting bruises show for how much stagnation was in an area!

Used in this session was stationary plastic cups and GuaSha on this clients 2 year old labrum tear surgery scar sites. We have been staving off her scar tissue and replenishing the tissues with fresh xue and qi.
