I am uncomfortable using the word "shaman/shamanic" outside its cultural context but I struggle to find a replacement word to describe the tarot deck I use.

The author of the deck, Goliath, describes it as "shamanic" and the deck's attributes ARE very similar to animistic ("Shamanic") ritual.

Do you have a better well-known word?

(PS I never use it to describe myself as this is not my culture, nor do my practices align with the term).

What is Socio-Symbology?

I am a Socio-Symbology Consultant, which means that I study what symbols and archetypes mean to different cultures in time, and the specific applications for individuals. In a branding or marketing application, this means that I can advise on subconscious nuances of the dream state and associations with archetypes and symbols.

Arkas/Arkos, "the Bear", is honored in this name. I have had dreams of bears, and a people of the bear, for a number of years, and feel quite close to this energy. It has inspired me to do a lot of research, which was the beginnings of this journey.

Individual and business consulting option are available--whether you're branding a business, or looking for another perspective on dreams or symbols. For individuals, I work by donation only; and I will contract with individual companies/brands for an agreed-upon price and schedule.
