✨ Success Story: Seeing Clearly Again ✨

Because of the NVI voucher program — and supporters like you — PBW connected Roberto with the resources he needed, including an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. 💛

Thank you for helping remove barriers to eye care and ensuring more individuals can see clearly again.

Thank you to the Milwaukee Brewers Foundation for supporting Prevent Blindness Wisconsin’s Vision for the Vulnerable Program.

This funding helps bring vision screenings and follow-up care to children in Milwaukee private choice schools, where many do not have a dedicated person to facilitate vision screenings. By filling this gap, the program ensures students can have vision problems identified and treated early, supporting their learning, confidence, and overall well-being.

We are proud to partner with the UW–Oshkosh Nursing Program, where more than 100 nursing students each year are trained and certified as Children’s Vision Screeners. As part of their clinical experience, these future nurses provide vision screenings in local elementary schools, helping identify vision concerns early, when it matters most. Through this partnership, more than 1,500 elementary students are vision screened each year.

Thank you, UW–Oshkosh Nursing, for your continued partnership and commitment to community health and PBW’s mission!
