This holiday season, we are reminded that some of the most meaningful gifts cannot be wrapped 👓✨

After a routine vision screening, a first-grade student was found to need glasses—something his family never expected. Through a vision voucher made possible by the VSP Eyes of Hope Program, he received an eye exam and glasses he proudly chose himself.

Now, he is seeing clearly at school and at home. His parent shared that while it was difficult to learn he needed glasses, it was reassuring to know he has what he needs.

Partnership Spotlight✨

We are thrilled to celebrate our partnership with Bellin College, NWTC, and UW–Green Bay’s nursing programs. Each year, over 150 nursing students from these three universities are trained as Children’s Vision Screeners and help bring vision screenings to public and private schools across Brown County, reaching more than 10,000 students annually. Through this hands-on experience, future nurses gain invaluable skills while helping children see a brighter future.

A special thank you goes to Brown County Public Health for their guidance and support, and to the Byron L. Walter Family Trust, the Cornerstone Foundation of Northeastern Wisconsin, and the Robert T. and Betty Rose-Meyer Foundation for making this work possible through your generous funding.

Together, we are providing a lifetime of healthy vision in Brown County!
