Please help us welcome Grace Alvarez to the Recovery at Marquette team! She also celebrates two years sober TODAY!!

Grace Alvarez (she/her) is the Collegiate Recovery Coordinator for Recovery at Marquette. Her work is rooted in collective care, accountability, and equity, ensuring that policy and organizational decisions reflect the voices of those most impacted. Though originally from rural Pennsylvania, she has lived in Milwaukee since 2018 after committing to study at Marquette University for her undergraduate education. Grace earned her master's in educational policy and foundations from Marquette University, where she continued her passion for building equitable, sustainable, and community-centered solutions. Grace aims to expand the reach of Recovery at Marquette’s mission through a lens of curiosity and compassion. She is open to growing both herself and the recovery community, fostering a space where everyone feels supported and empowered to thrive. Grace’s hobbies include reading, discovering new (and old) music, doodling, and playing soccer.
