Marty Walcoe, CEO of David Lerner Associates along with Mike Polansky, President of the Long Island Police Crisis Foundation raise money every year by hosting various events including the Long Island Police Appreciation Run to support Police Officers that are in need of assistance.

Today, they presented Suzanne Hyland with a generous check donation for Officer Mike Hyland as he goes through a vigorous rehab to recover from his brutal injuries. A special thank you to Assistant Director of the Police Run Ellen Greenspan and Coordinator of Volunteers Mindy Davidson.

On Monday, the Nassau County PBA continued our fight for Tier 6 Enhancements by participating in a rally in Yonkers NY which included a round table discussion with state party leaders fighting to improve Tier 6 for our membership!

Over the Weekend, President Shevlin and members of the PBA Executive Board proudly attended the Paper Rose Project Fundraiser at Mulcahy's in honor of Police Officer Matthew Kear. All proceeds from the event benefitted Military Veterans, First Responders, Children with Special Needs, and their Families. Thank you to everyone who came out to support!

Today, the Nassau County PBA was joined by the Nassau County Police Department and Police Departments from around the tri-state in support of Michael Hyland who was discharged from the Emergency Department after a month of fighting for his life. Please continue to keep Officer Hyland in your prayers as he continues his road to recovery.
