A Huge Thank You to the First Methodist Church of Mineola for taking us to the Red Dome Smokehouse in Quitman every month. Today was very special as Mr. Bob is back! Bob has been out with a lengthy illness, but by God's grace he is back with us and doing wonderful! Also, a special thank you to Ms. Beth at the Red Dome Smokehouse for always taking such good care of us! What a wonderful day of food, fellowship and fun!!

The Texas Rhythm Cloggers came by to see us, and oh my goodness what fun we had! Lots of smiling faces!! We look forward to them coming back to visit us soon!

Well look who came by with a delicious Iced Coffee Bar for our residents and staff, in honor of Assisted Living Week! Thank you Debbie Mooney Reflections Hospice Of Texas for always taking such good care of us! We love you!!

So our first ever 'Home-made Ice Cream Contest' was a big hit! Thank you to Ms. Debbie Mooney Reflections Hospice Of Texas, Robin Hawkins-Dulude@Angel Hands Hospice, Kayla @ Aspen Hospice, and Autumn Wind's very own Britney Bongard, Vicki Smith and Ms. Ricki English for their entries. The residents chose the winners and Ms. Debbie won 1st place with her Oreo Cookie ice cream, Vicki took 2nd with her Chocolate Mint ice cream and Britney took 3rd with her Strawberries N Cream Ice Cream. Ms. Ricki made a fruit and oat ice cream and Kayla did chocolate. So much fun was had by all and it was so good! Thank you Debbie for the suggestion! We will do this again!

Well, I've not been able to post for awhile so I have much to catch up on! Let's start with a super THANK YOU to Ms. Debbie Mooney Reflections Hospice Of Texas, and her team Brittany and of course, my sweet Sharon Quevreaux! They made home-made lasagna with all the trimmings for our staff here at Autumn Wind Mineola!! Yum Yum!
