Research shows tinnitus can present as ringing, buzzing, hissing, whirring, clicking, or roaring, and may be constant or come and go. Because tinnitus is a symptom, not a condition on its own, understanding what’s causing it is essential to managing it effectively.

Tinnitus care starts with a comprehensive hearing assessment to better understand your hearing health and identify possible contributors to tinnitus.

Addressing tinnitus early can make a meaningful difference in comfort, confidence, and overall well-being. If you’re experiencing ongoing sounds in your ears, book a hearing evaluation at Hear2Help Associates, 516-851-5861.

Did you know that over 200 medications list hearing loss or tinnitus as a possible side effect?

This includes some prescriptions and even common over-the-counter meds like aspirin or acetaminophen. But don’t panic, taking them doesn’t mean you will develop hearing issues.

If you do notice ringing or changes in hearing after starting a new medication, don’t stop taking it; talk to your prescribing doctor first!

We’re here to help you monitor your hearing health and work with your care team if anything changes. To schedule your hearing appointment contact:
