Last Week the Lead assistant at our Sunnyside East location Laurie Cutler celebrated her 1 year anniversary with UPC.
“I like working for UPC because coming to work and seeing the residents smiles daily is the best part of my job. I love sitting down and playing games with the residents and doing all different kinds of crafts with them.”

Our Vista House Lead Mindy Bockorny celebrated 3 years of Service with Upland Point Corporation on September 30th!!

I’ve started my CNA journey at 16, as the thought of helping people had always been what I wanted to do when I grew up. Through the years I have worked for home heath, CBRFs, LTC facilities, treatment centers and hospitals. I came to UPC 3 years ago as a Lead, and I couldn’t be happier. I have learned so much from Tracy (operations manager). The whole company is here for each other in good times and bad, everyone pulls together to help. I enjoy my house, especially my residents. Seeing their smiles daily is the best part of my job. Nothing is meaningless when you're a caregiver. Big or small, every task is important to the person you’re taking care of. No matter what, you get to make a real difference in this person's daily life and improve their overall well-being. This sense of accomplishment can be very rewarding and helps shape a positive coping mechanism for when you're feeling particularly challenged by the job.- Mindy Bockorny.

Today we recognize Tammi Baird on her 2 year anniversary at Upland Point Corporation!

I absolutely love my residents! They have become a second family as well as Springhouse has become a second home. I love when their eyes light up over a good meal and the way they chuckle over a funny story. They have taught me alot and in return I get to hang out with some of the coolest fellas around. I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity Upland Point Corporation has given me, that's why I love working for UPC. I love my job!!- Tammi
