Today we want to spotlight our incredible Activity Director, Rachel Johnson!

This week is National Activity Professionals Week. Our activities team at The Ridge consistently brings our buildings new, meaningful activities that brighten the lives of our staff and residents. Leading their way is our wonderful, one of a kind activity director, Rachel Johnson.

Rachel brings compassion, creativity, and positivity into our building every single day. Her dedication to our residents is evident in the meaningful activities she plans, the joy she brings to each interaction, and the genuine care she shows to everyone around her. Whether she’s leading engaging programs or offering a listening ear, Rachel goes above and beyond to make our nursing home feel like home. Rachel's creativity and dedication makes her one of a kind and a huge blessing to the building.

Thank you, Rachel, for your unwavering dedication and the love you pour into the lives of our residents. We are so grateful for everything you do, not just today, but every day!

Today was nothing short of magical. 🎄🎁 Our Christmas party was overflowing with presents, laughter, and pure happiness. Seeing the joy on our residents’ faces as they opened their gifts is a reminder of how special this season truly is. We are so grateful for the generosity, love, and community support that helped make this day unforgettable. ❤️

Home Instead of Austintown and the beautiful program they facilitate, Santa to a Senior, will be blessing every one of our residents with hand-picked holiday gifts this year. The abundance of love and generosity we feel from our community has made our hearts grow at least three times in size. We are so grateful for the kindness that reminds our residents just how cherished they truly are. ❤️🎄

Thank you to everyone involved for the love, time, and generosity poured into this program. You’ve truly made the holidays brighter for every one of our residents.

A BIG thank you is in order to the Cub Scout Pack 9022 from Zion Lutheran Church. Thank you for spreading love, music and joy throughout our building and touching all our hearts with classic Christmas carols. It was such a pleasure. 🎶🎄

Our Employee of the Month is none other than Nia Greer! Nia is and STNA who you will always see smiling! She is so polite and kind to everyone. She is a huge asset to our team, often picking up shifts when needed and quick to jump in and help her coworkers. The residents love her positive attitude. Congratulations, Nia!
