Hello to you dear and supportive souls,
Happy spring everyone! I truly feel it approaching on the wings of hope and trust. As I sat outside on the porch yesterday with my husband celebrating his birthday, I took in the incredible gift of nature, the majestic sky above us and the birds singing their joyful “happy to be alive” songs. In that peaceful moment, my heart overflowed with gratitude. I found myself thanking God and the angels for each and every one of you who have prayed for me, encouraged me and supported me in so many meaningful ways.
My month-long stay at the healing center was deeply uplifting and truly strengthened me for the next phases of this healing journey. This path has shown me that healing is a process, not a single event, and I am honored to share that very real and tangible progress has taken place. When I first arrived at the center, I needed to take the elevator to reach the upper floor where many of the state-of-the-art holistic treatments occurred. By the second week, supported by consistent therapies and a very healthy, intentional eating regimen, I began to feel the physical changes. By the fourth week, we captured a video of me confidently going up and down stairs instead of using the elevator! I was able to begin rebounding after the 2nd week, which felt like a wonderful milestone. Since my journey began in November, I have released 42 pounds of unneeded weight, and more importantly, gained strength, clarity and renewed trust in my body’s wisdom to heal. Tests performed upon entering the center and again at the end showed significant improvement which was very encouraging.
While I still have healing ahead of me, I am trusting in the process and preparing for the next steps. I will continue to keep you informed as more unfolds.
This past week brought another uplifting milestone. I was able to resume a light schedule of sessions. It was such a joy to see some of you again, and I am deeply grateful for the patience of those who have placed themselves on my waitlist. I am sincerely looking forward to accommodating you as I continue moving forward. “Angel Time” will also be happening in March as Linda has posted, and that is always so fun to gather together.
I shared on the GoFundMe page a few photos from my healing process, and as I have said before, words could never fully express my gratitude. Please know this, your kindness, generosity, prayers and love have made a real positive difference in my life. I carry that with me every day.
