🌟 Resident Spotlight 🌟

Sherry is someone who truly brings warmth and connection to our community. She loves spending time chatting and laughing with staff—building those relationships is one of her favorite parts of being here.

Before joining us, Sherry worked in advertising at the Beacon Journal, a role she looks back on with pride.

When it comes to favorites, Sherry keeps it classic—her favorite color is red, she enjoys a warm cup of hot chocolate, and if she’s snacking, she’s reaching for something salty like chips. Christmas is her favorite holiday, and you can often find her enjoying a good game of bingo! 🎄☕

What Sherry appreciates most about life here is how the staff makes her feel right at home. Her advice to others? “Get to know the staff—they will make you feel at home.” ❤️

We’re so lucky to have Sherry as part of our Arbors family!

It is with profound sadness that our team shares the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Brook Marker, who passed on April 6, 2026.

For over 11 years, Brook served as a dedicated STNA at Arbors at Minerva—a role she carried out with unwavering commitment and genuine compassion.

Brook was far more than a valued team member. She was a true friend to so many—someone who loved deeply and poured her whole heart into the care of our residents each and every day. In the most difficult moments, she had a rare gift for being a steady light—lifting those around her and inspiring each of us to be better.

Her absence leaves a void that words cannot fully capture. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May the warmth, love, and spirit she so freely gave continue to live on in all of us, and in every life she touched. 🤍
