When I say that owning a business is hard, it’s an understatement. When I say that it’s the first thing I think about in the morning, last thing before bed, and wakes me up in the night, it’s an understatement. When I say that I have a thousand things in my head all at once, it’s an u n d e r s t a t e m e n t .
During a summer where so much has been happening — team expansions, space expansion, business development, launching new programming, and learning from *dozens* of mistakes — all during our slowest season of the year… this recognition came at a beautiful time.
Owning Aether is a dream come true. The gratification we get immediately when we see transformation in our clients on the table is what keeps each of us in love with our work. We are so lucky that we get to share so much with so many.
Our line of work is one that truly is fulfilling, and all of that is thanks to the hundreds (almost thousands!) of people that trust us with their healing. Thank you 🫶🏻
For the founder, though, this work is so much more than those beautiful relationships with our clients. It’s a sometimes seemingly insurmountable heap of admin work. It’s hard.
And now, I am reminded that all of the hard parts—spreadsheets, failed marketing campaigns, equipment issues, hundreds of spam calls (that I have to answer just as joyfully as any phone call to a business)—they are worth it.
They have always been worth it, but sometimes it’s easy to forget that, ya know? After eight hours of excel interrupted with four robocalls and several months with more investment than revenue… it’s really, really nice to have recognition like this.
So to each of you who have written a review, shared a rating, and referred us to your people, THANK YOU.
