We’re proud to share that Southside Community Health Services has been recognized by the Minneapolis Health Department as a Lactation Friendly Clinic – Silver Level!
As part of earning this recognition, the Southside team:�✅ Developed a supportive lactation policy for employees�✅ Planned improvements to its lactation room�✅ Organized lactation education classes�✅ Stocked the clinic with lactation support supplies and made several other changes to create more supportive environment for staff and patients.
These efforts are expected to impact about 250 people each year, promoting health, inclusion, and support for families in our community.
Southside Medical Director shared:
