🏕️ The Unruly Gear Exchange is back! With the intention to bring community together, and fundraise to support local mutual aid. ❤️

Please join Unruly Women, block printing and on ✨ March 21, 2026 ✨ from 12-3pm ✨

🏕️ Swap/exchange gently used and new-to-you outdoor gear
•you do not need to bring gear to get gear
•selling gear is not permitted
•no weapons

🎨 Block printing with
• bring a shirt, a tote - something you’d like to customize! ✨ ALL financial donations go to local mutual aid to help with groceries , housing, and essential supplies.💕

🍻 A portion of beverage proceeds from during our event will also go towards mutual aid for housing, groceries and essential supplies.💕

✨ this will be a lovely opportunity to connect with others, who care about the outdoors and our Minneapolis community 💕

😋 There will be a 🍕 pizza food truck
🍻 alcoholic, THC, an non-alcoholic beverages

Don't listen to their lies. Use your EYES. Use your critical thinking skills. Our neighbors, are our community. There is NO justification of what's been happening and the atrocities that continue to unfold. *History is repeating itself.*

🧊 aren't executioners. 🧊 are minimally trained, armed kidnappers taking unarmed people and children in broad daylight, regardless of paperwork or immigration status, waiting outside schools and workplaces, barging into homes and hospitals. 🧊 isn't protecting anyone, they're not making communities safer. 🧊 is HURTING our communities, 🧊 has been kidnapping, beating and murdering unarmed civilians across the country. The news tries to tell us what we see with our own eyes isn't truth, they justify it to fuel their own agendas.

Don't look away. Don't listen to their lies. USE YOUR EYES. Use your brain. Check in with your humanity. Check in with your heart.

I believe in this life time, we won't have peace. There are going to be tragedies the world has never seen before and tragedies the world repeats and we're going to have to figure out how to keep living and how to keep fighting, without losing hope. So, don't check out. Check in on your friends, your neighbors, your community.

CONTACT YOUR REPS. Show up and support the places and spaces and people that need it most right now. We can't do it all or be all, but everyone doing a little bit adds up to a lot more than nothing at all.

If you're watching people be kidnapped, and you're justifying it because the people they're beating and stealing don't look like you - that's privilege.

Congress votes THIS WEEK (as early as tomorrow Wednesday January 21st) to overturn the 20-year mining ban protecting the Boundary Waters Wilderness. If passed, it would erase current protections, reopen the door to sulfide-ore copper mining near the Boundary Waters, and block future administrations from using the same safeguards. PLEASE FOLLOW THE LINK BELOW, there's a pre-written email and the info to call reps - - please do something. This is URGENT.

Besides mining DESTROYING this pristine ecosystem, nature and wildlife habitats, the outdoor industry is a billion dollar industry that IS the economy of northern Minnesota. Mining is destructive and temporary and we don't want it, we don't need it. We NEED to protect the BWCA. Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness Save the Boundary Waters

I feel incredibly grateful to be part of this experience and to be here to help promote and encourage you to feel less intimidated and more welcomed in these spaces. Unruly Women has ALWAYS believed in Community > Competition when it comes to business and fully believes that we are so much stronger together supporting each other than competing with one another.

This year, there will be other organizations tabling during the race, who are also helping to make outdoor spaces more accessible and inclusive - -whether that's biking, hiking, camping, paddling and more. These are just a few organizations of many, that we are so lucky to have in our Minneapolis / St.Paul / Twin Cities Communities. Thank you for being part of this!!!
