I feel incredibly grateful to be part of this experience and to be here to help promote and encourage you to feel less intimidated and more welcomed in these spaces. Unruly Women has ALWAYS believed in Community > Competition when it comes to business and fully believes that we are so much stronger together supporting each other than competing with one another.

This year, there will be other organizations tabling during the race, who are also helping to make outdoor spaces more accessible and inclusive - -whether that's biking, hiking, camping, paddling and more. These are just a few organizations of many, that we are so lucky to have in our Minneapolis / St.Paul / Twin Cities Communities. Thank you for being part of this!!! Had such a great time with Theodore Wirth Singletrack - MOCA / MORC Trails and all of the incredible volunteers on Wednesday this week!!! Thank you to everyone who made it out to volunteer and thank you MORC for teaching us and for your patience while we learned to rebuild trail. I can't think of a better way to spend a drizzly cool evening when mtb trails are closed 🥳😊☔️

So grateful to be part of these events, thank you MN DNR!! 🥳

On May 3, DNR naturalist Arika McGraw and Monica Shoberg of Unruly Women hosted a mindful and educational hike at Iona’s Beach SNA. Participants practiced journaling, Leave No Trace ethics, and plant identification while enjoying the Lake Superior shoreline on a bright spring afternoon.
