More than 900 people died of an opioid overdose in Minnesota last year. The ongoing crisis has state health officials worried and looking for new ways to treat chronic pain.

No Pain MN needs help recruiting chronic pain patients in outstate MN with musculoskeletal pain willing to participate in a zoom meeting. In early 2020 our team at Hennepin Healthcare was awarded a grant from the MN Department of Health to assist in reducing opioid use for chronic pain patients.



The zoom meeting will be with myself and a research assistant asking about their pain and their standard medical and complementary treatments. We will explore ease of access or barriers encountered in trying to receive chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage, physical therapy, psychotherapies, or any other movement therapies. The time commitment is 30-45 minutes and participants will receive a $20.00 gift card from Amazon.
