Minnesota has become the sauna capital of North America because this practice was brought here by immigrants. And today, Minnesota is also experiencing a moment of deep pain across the neighborhoods we love.

This Sunday, 2/1, we’re hosting a Minneapolis Lakes Neighborhood Sauna Day at Little Ember’s location on Cedar Lake, as well as FoxFire’s locations at Bde Maka Ska and Lake Nokomis.

“I’ve never met someone angry about being in a sauna” is often the response I give when asked how I like my job.

While it’s certainly common to feel many emotions when in the sauna, I’ve never found anger to be one of them. The sauna has a wonderful way of washing away the days negative emotions and bringing calm, peace, and a lot of smiles.

We’ll be dishing out plenty of that sauna bliss over at this weekend. Grab a community seat or a private session on our website!
