Family Tree Clinic’s vision is to eliminate health disparities through innovative, personalized sexual health care and education for diverse needs. Located in Minneapolis, MN Family Tree Clinic has provided low-cost, patient driven health care and education services since 1971. In addition to our medical clinic, we provide comprehensive community education services and education services for the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing community.

Black history and Reproductive justice have always been linked. Reproductive Justice was coined by 12 Black women who went on to found Women of African Descent for Reproductive Justice.

They knew then that reproductive rights are not possible without an equity and social justice lens. Since then, Reproductive Justice has become a framework to address the inequities that Black women, women of color, Indigenous women, and trans folks face and it is on all of us to carry this work forward, this month and beyond.

2026 marks 10 years since Family Tree Clinic has done hormone care and 10 years of Dr. Kelsey being on staff. We are eternally grateful for all of the care and intention Dr. Kelsey has invested to make sure Family Tree is an affirming place for people of every gender to receive accurate and excellent care.

We are still grieving and processing the killing of Alex Pretti this weekend by ICE agents, and our hearts go out to our whole community impacted by this horrific occupation. We demand ICE OUT of Minnesota.

We are committed to continuing to be a safe place for our community who rely on us for essential medical care and health education and engagement. We are here for everyone. Many of our services are available via Telehealth for those who are unsafe traveling right now. We are happy to discuss this option and other accommodations you may need to ensure your safety. Please just give us a call.

We will continue to share updates, as well as ways you can continue to support and help out our broader communities, organizations, and movements on the frontlines at this time.
