Earth Day is a reminder that healing isn’t just individual—it’s collective, environmental, and deeply interconnected. 🌱

At Creative Kuponya, we recognize that our mental health is shaped by the spaces we live in, the air we breathe, and the communities we belong to. Caring for the Earth is an act of caring for ourselves—and vice versa.

Today, we invite you to pause, step outside, and notice what grounds you. Whether it’s sunlight on your skin, the rhythm of your breath, or the presence of green around you, connection to the Earth can be a powerful resource for regulation and restoration.

Let’s continue building a world where well-being is sustainable—for people and the planet. 🌍

does it again with the sweetest, most adorable activity for the students! 🌷70 flowers were custom-made (shout out to the awesome staff for the assembly🤩)and painted by each child❤️ We may have never seen anything more charming!💐Even the infant classrooms got their lil fingers in the mix with food grade safe paint and they used marshmallows as paintbrushes😍

A lil slice of true joy!!! Thank you

Trauma doesn’t heal in isolation—it heals in connection.

Not just talking about what happened, but being with people who see you, believe you, and stay.

It’s in the moments of:
Being heard without judgment.
Being held without fixing.
Being witnessed without turning away.

Healing happens when your nervous system learns—again and again—you’re not alone anymore.

Community isn’t extra. It’s the medicine.

We’re excited to announce that our CEO and Co-Founder of Creative Kuponya, Jamil Stamschror-Lott, will be the Keynote Speaker at this year’s Conference, in addition to facilitating a Pre-Conference Training.

It’s an honor to share space with a community dedicated to supporting students and advancing equity in education for first generation students, those from low income homes and under represented backgrounds.

We’re looking forward to meaningful conversations, connection, and collective growth.

We are ALL IN FOR KIDS 💛
We are incredibly honored to have had our very own co-founder, Sara, speak at Children’s Advocacy Day with at the Minnesota Capitol. Being in community with so many passionate advocates, leaders, and changemakers reminded me just how powerful our collective voice can be, namely in a time when early childhood education NEEDS our support!
Early childhood education is not a luxury—it’s a foundation. And right now, too many of our children, families, and educators are being asked to do more with far less than they deserve.
We must continue to champion:
✨ Access to high-quality early childhood education for EVERY child
✨ Sustainable support and investment in educators
✨ Systems that truly meet families and centers where they are—with dignity and equity
A grand THANK YOU to the Greater Twin Cities United Way team leading the work of advocacy, 80x3 programming and beyond: Leo Howard III, M.ed, Stephannie L. Lewis, MPP, Ivette A I., Jackson Gunvalson, Jamie Bonczyk, Noran Tarek Aly, MDP, Veronica Deenanath, Ph.D., Kristina Salkowski, Melissa Kadlec.
And all of the amazing organizations represented that day, who stand up for Minnesota kids and families every. single. day!: , Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, , .usa , Education Partnerships Coalition of Minnesota, , , Family Wise, , Momentum Advocacy, and the Minnesota Coalition for Family Home Visiting.
When we invest in our youngest community members, we invest in our shared future.
Grateful to stand with so many who are committed to showing up, speaking out, and pushing for the change our kids deserve!

The release and public discourse around the Epstein files has stirred up so much for survivors of sexual trauma — not being believed, being judged, being groomed, being silenced.

For many, it feels like being thrown back into the storm.
For others, the storm never stopped.

In response, we are hosting a Healing Circle for Survivors, by Survivors.

This gathering will center creative, art-based healing practices designed specifically for sexual trauma survivors. You do not need to identify as an “artist” — just come as you are. This space is about expression, reclamation, and collective care.

We’ll hold space for:
• Processing what’s being activated right now
• Reclaiming our narratives
• Naming what we need for our own healing
• Exploring next steps — individually and collectively
• Moving from survival toward self-directed action

This event is free.
There is no registration required, in order to protect privacy and allow you to maintain your anonymity. You can simply arrive.

Light food and beverages will be available.

We will also have:
• A separate space will be available for allies, so survivors can access their support person if needed during the circle.
• A private quiet space available for grounding or emotional support

You do not have to do this alone.
You never did.

Survivors deserve spaces that believe them.
Survivors deserve spaces that center them.
Survivors deserve spaces that help them move from harm toward healing — together.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, you’re not alone. And there’s no magic answer for living through this — but we can take care of each other and take small steps toward safety.

Please support local organizations providing legal resources, community care, and rapid response support. Here are some options:

There are many more, so drop em in the comments.

And in the meantime, take care of your body — fear lives in the nervous system.
Try one small thing today:

drink water + eat something nourishing

step outside and look around (orienting)

put your feet on the floor and take 3 long exhales

unclench your jaw / drop your shoulders

text someone safe: “I’m not okay today—can you be with me?”

We deserve a Minnesota where families can live, work, and access care without fear.

🌟 Heartfelt gratitude to the seven incredible individuals and families who stepped up to provide food for folks in need during the government shutdown! Their generosity brought well over $1,500 worth of food combined to and St. Paul. 🙌💖 It’s inspiring to see our community come together to support those in need, proving that even small actions from a few people, can lead to big changes. Thank you for making a difference!
