No, it doesn't have to be as bad as this photo. People get injured in 10 mph impacts and even when their car is stationary and they're hit by someone else. Your monthly insurance premium covers you and your passengers for personal injury and I can bill auto insurance. Massage, acupuncture, manual lymph drainage, and cranio-sacral therapy are all covered. The sooner you receive treatments after an accident, the better for your recovery. It is illegal for auto insurance companies to raise your insurance because you were involved in an accident or pulled from your benefits. They can raise your premiums if you were at fault, however.

Whenever health-related classes, textbooks, paperwork, etc address exercise, it's always the same list of activities--walking, running, bicycling, swimming--exercise. These activities may seem daunting to someone who hasn't been exercising in a long time. They are also sagittal dominant. It's time we expand that list to activities that people enjoy--dancing, gardening, bowling, pickle ball, lawn games like croquet. These aren't exercise per se, they're activities. They are more functional, have more transverse movement, and they are more social.
