We aim to dismantle addiction stigma, promote recovery, and provide engaging, sober-centric events for our members. Serving as torchbearers of transformative personal recovery journeys, we champion the joys of a sober lifestyle and provide tools to navigate the complexities of addiction. Whether you're in recovery, a supportive friend or family member, or a professional in the field, our community is here to empower all in pursuit of a drug-free world.

Want to help shape the future of recovery and harm reduction in a Black-Led Certified Recovery Community Organization?

Serving on the Anything Helps Board of Directors is a meaningful way to support the work happening at the Northside Hub and ensure that the voices of people with lived experience help guide the direction of our organization.

As a Board member, you’ll help shape programs that support harm reduction, peer recovery, and community wellness across Minneapolis. You’ll collaborate with community members, advocates, and partners to strengthen the safety net for people navigating substance use, recovery, and systemic barriers. It’s also an opportunity to build leadership experience, expand your network, and be part of work that truly saves lives.

Board members help guide the mission, sustainability, and long-term vision of Anything Helps. Our board meets approximately once per month, with an estimated time commitment of 1-3 hours per month, including occasional committee work. Lived experience with substance use is preferred.

Current priorities include strengthening community partnerships, expanding harm reduction services, supporting peer workforce development, and continuing to build a person-centered space where everyone is welcome.

If you are passionate about community, recovery, and harm reduction—and want to help shape what comes next—we encourage you to get involved.

If you have questions about joining more, reach out to Anything Helps by emailing info@anythinghelpsmn.org also please submit your resume and a short bio.

Hello everyone,

By popular request—and thanks to generous funding—we’re excited to offer a free, culturally relevant Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) training in collaboration with The Minnesota Hope Dealerz Organization

This opportunity is part of our effort to build equity and expand access to peer recovery support within our communities. Because this training is supported by limited funding, space is limited.

You can register for the training here:
https://www.traininghelpsmn.org/event-details-registration/cprs-training-please-read-details-5

This is an In-person training and the commitment is 6 days. Please make sure you are able to attend all 6 days before registering. Please reach out to info@anythinghelpsmn.org with your story for the coupon code to take advantage of the scholarship.

We hope to offer more trainings like this in the future as additional funding becomes available—so stay connected for upcoming opportunities.

Also if you are an organization that would like to collaborate and host a training with us please reach out. We don't bite.
