James Morgan Humphrey and I in our new hearse before a funeral procession. Brings back memories of my father and me having long conversations on the return drive from funeral services at Pelsor.
I remember how very proud my dad was of me as we worked together for 20 years. I have that same confidence in James. He is a truly remarkable man; he makes integrity and humility look easy.
I often think about how very proud Betty was of him. I know she still looks down on him and is likely bragging to Dorothy (Helm) about his accomplishments!
