What is a Peer Recovery Specialist?

A Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) is someone who’s been there and now walks with others through recovery.

They don’t lecture.
They don’t judge.
They listen, support, and guide—using their own lived experience to empower others.

At MnPRA, peer support is more than a service. It’s a relationship built on trust, empathy, and hope. 💛

💬 If you or someone you know is ready to connect with support that gets it, we’re here.
