Collaboration is the key to ending homelessness — and we’re seeing real results right here in Minneapolis. Thanks to Minnesota Housing, Hennepin County Government and other capital funders!
At Touchstone Mental Health, we believe that stable housing and supportive community are foundational to health, dignity, and recovery. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Alliance Housing and Property Solutions and Services to make a lasting difference for people who have experienced homelessness.
Kyle Garden Square — a new supportive housing building downtown — is one great example of this collaboration in action. Owned by Alliance Housing Inc., managed by Property Solutions & Services, Inc. and supported on-site by Touchstone Mental Health staff, this building offers 59 units of stable, supportive housing with wraparound services that help people stay housed and work toward their goals.
Integrated Community Supports (ICS) is available for some of the tenant— a 245D waiver service — plays a big role in helping residents not just have a place to live, but to live well in the community. ICS provides personalized support and skills training in areas like:
• community participation
• health, safety & wellness
• household management
• adaptive living skills
—all designed to help people feel connected, confident, and capable in their neighborhoods.
What makes this work so powerful is partnership — not just between organizations, but with the people we serve. Stable housing isn’t simply a roof over someone’s head; it’s a platform for community integration, recovery, and long-term success. Together, we’re proving that community-centered, collaborative approaches make housing more than a service — they make it home.
Touchstone Mental Health’s work is about more than getting residents through the door. It’s about meeting people where they’re at and making recovery possible.
