The Assistance Technology department recently showcased its work at the AT Maker Fair at the Closing The Gap conference.

During the fair, our experts presented models of various 3D-printed adaptive devices that help make everyday life more accessible for our patients.

The demand for 3D-printed assistive devices has significantly increased and we are proud of our innovative technology and the positive impact it has on those we serve.

It is now our honor to present this prestigious award to our outstanding volunteers who are passing on the compassion, spontaneity and friendship that Susan gave to us.

Let’s Gooooo!

Joe Dailey is training for the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon! He’ll complete the 26.2 miles on his hand bike! It’s his first time back on the course in more than two decades.

Joe has been living with a spinal cord injury since 2002 and trains with Allina Health Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute’s adaptive cycling program. This is the first year the marathon is allowing all mobility devices on the course.

September is National Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month. Joe’s ride is raising money for research and raising awareness about what is possible for people living with spinal cord injuries.

Go, Joe.
