Have you Heard of Brainspotting yet?
Many of you have heard of EMDR which has been an integral part of my practice in working with clients with PTSD and other traumas. In the past year I have learned about and been trained in Brainspotting that was developed by a master EMDR practitioner. I am finding it to be an absolutely amazing modality for clients to heal from trauma and process almost any difficult situation they are going through. Therapies such as EMDR and Brainspotting are amazing innovations in therapy as they focus on the mind and body. Check out this video to learn more about this resource for you, loved ones or your clients. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm3Plvaf3UE

Also, here is a link to interesting research articles on Brainspotting including one with Newtown Sandy Hook survivors.

We are looking for someone who wants a unique part-time opportunity. I need a counselor/case manager to work with and provide support to individuals in early recovery living in sober housing. The position is mostly remote utilizing Telehealth but being able to meet clients in Minneapolis is a bonus. Dual license with a LADC is ideal but experience with addiction is required. The position pays $35 per hour. One can expect 8-10 hours a month and number would likely grow as we expand. A majority of our population is LGBTQ so competency in that area is a must. DM us or comment for more details or if you know someone who would be good for this role.
