Most maternal deaths in Minnesota are preventable—and substance use is a leading factor.

ABC 6 News - KAAL TV highlights how critical support is for pregnant and postpartum women, especially after delivery when care can fall away. At Mn Adult & Teen Challenge, we’re honored to walk alongside women with compassionate, long-term support—free from shame and full of hope.

Recovery is possible. No one has to face this alone.

Minnesota Department of Health data from the last five years shows most maternal deaths in the state are preventable, and substance use is the leading factor.

Our Mission

Our mission is to assist teens and adults in gaining freedom from chemical addictions and other life controlling problems by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

We offer effective and affordable programs throughout Minnesota with campuses in Minneapolis, Brainerd, Duluth, Rochester and Buffalo. We offer both a long-term, faith-based recovery program and short-term licensed treatment program, allowing us to effectively serve individuals with a broad spectrum of addiction issues; from those seeking treatment for the first time, to those who have been struggling with addiction for many years.
