A few months ago, I started working with a hockey player who came in with a full adductor muscle tear — pain, frustrated, and uncertain if he’d return to the ice… or even sit in a restaurant chair without pain. Even both feet showed signs of discoloration from back issues.
Fast forward to today?
He's teed off for two full rounds of competitive golf this weekend. Still healing. Still rebuilding. But he's back in the game — no longer sidelined by pain.

Our Story

Shift Fitness and Massage provides the perfect blend of relaxation, rejuvenation and restoration to decrease pain and increase function and mobility. Shift offers holistic health care and prevention through: Massage, Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy, Orthopedic Exercise, Personal Training, yoga, and social dancing and group fitness.

When people as why did I do what I do it is because of pain that I thought was normal that eventually became debilitating. Working with Drs and testing, physical therapy and even surgery and chiropractic care I still had pain which caused me to have to leave my full time job before I was 40. 3 years later I found the right massage therapist that was able to relieve the pain over time. Considering that I could not shake a hand because of the nerve pain it took some time. Ironically, I did go back to that full time job and was there 6 years before I began my massage journey. I continued on with personal training and have a Associates of Science degree in both. I am also a yoga instructor and dance instructor.

Getting out of the pain cycle was a gift for me and everyone deserves to being pain free. My journey continued learning from the best educators in the country and world. The advanced orthopedic massage from techniques with James Waslaske and advance Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy with Erik Dalton are a gentle movement that are give make functional movement.
