Unimaginable Heartbreak

Most of those who read this newsletter are in or from Minnesota, and we are witnessing horrendous tragedies unfolding here. The pain, fear, anger, and outrage are front and center in our communities. We are in the world spotlight, and this should be a warning to others that if you think it can't happen to you, think again. Witnessing the response Minnesotans have made doesn't surprise me. We come together in times of crisis and need without a second thought. I have never been more proud to be a Minnesotan, seeing thousands making a difference through protesting, aiding neighbors in need, and creating space for those who seek safety.

Please, everyone, do what you can to make a difference in whatever way that means to you. Some find strength in protesting or delivering supplies to people who can't leave their homes. Some are writing and calling government officials. Maybe your strengths lie behind the scenes. Please take care of yourselves and recharge when needed. Lean on your spiritual helpers, Divine Source, and your faith in these terrible times. I still see the light of hope aglow. We will persevere and rebuild. I send strength, compassion, and healing to all who wish to receive it. Take care, my friends.

Every situation in your life can be represented by the cards and their combinations in spreads. Looking at a single card, or a card layout, can give you a starting point for seeing where you are with an honest lens. If you are curious about tarot but uncertain about divination, this is an excellent way to learn and explore this creative modality from an insightful perspective. If you don't have cards, decks will be available to borrow or purchase. Beginning Tarot in Minneapolis on Saturday, Jan 3 and 10 from 10:00am-2:00pm both days. Blessed Yule everyone! I was outside last night looking at the stars and this morning for the sunrise. We enter the cave of winter, the darkest season. Take time to observe the quieting of the season, which definitely goes against what society is encouraging this time of year. Allow yourself to breathe deeply, take your time, and find magic in the dark.
