Sen Pingkhala β The Mobilizing Pathway (Right)
If Sen Ittha relates to settling, Sen Pingkhala relates to activation.
Sen Pingkhala travels along the right side of the body and is traditionally associated with warming and activating qualities. βWarmingβ refers to mobilization β the body preparing to engage, respond, and act.
Anatomically, this pathway mirrors regions commonly involved in alertness: the jaw, rib cage, shoulders, and cervical spine. When activation remains elevated, we often observe jaw tension, lifted shoulders, rib restriction, and forward head posture. In modern physiological language, these patterns are consistent with prolonged sympathetic activation.
Energetically, Pingkhala represents outward engagement. The goal in bodywork is not to eliminate activation β it is to regulate it, so the body can move fluidly between effort and ease.
** When youβre under stress, where does your body tighten first β jaw, shoulders, or ribs?
