The Mother Baby Center is a unique partnership that integrates Allina Health’s maternal services, including perinatal, maternal assessment, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn-care area with Children’s Minnesota's neonatal services and all pediatric specialty care services within its health system. The Mother Baby Centers are designed with moms, babies and families in mind and bring together a few of the best-known names in mother and baby care. Angela gave birth prematurely to her daughter Lilia at just 23 weeks. After being born at The Mother Baby Center, Lilia was immediately brought to the Children's Minnesota NICU where she would receive expert care to help her develop and grow. Lilia spent 128 days in the NICU and six weeks in the ICC at Children's Minnesota. Today, Lilia is now 19 months old. “She is sweet as can be with a funny and feisty side coming out,” said Angela.💛

When Alex was 17 weeks pregnant, she found out her baby had spina bifida. Thanks to the expert care of the Midwest Fetal Care Center, Carlisle overcame incredible odds. He was born at The Mother Baby Center and then admitted to Children’s Minnesota where he would spend his first 78 days. Today, Carlisle is 2 years old, crawling and charming everyone with his belly laugh.
